Who needs a seat?
Admins and editors
On Team, every member of the team workspace who can edit takes a seat, and the owner pays for all of them on one invoice.
Viewers and link guests
Free on every plan. Viewers never take a seat, and anyone who joins a board through its link can edit without an account or a seat.
Fewer than 10 editors
Everyone takes Host. The numbers cross over early, though: 8 editors on Host is €72 a month; a Team of 10 is €70.

Do participants need an account or a paid seat?
No. Participants can join through an editable board link with a name, without creating an account. Participants are free on every plan. The host signs up to create and manage boards.
Who needs a seat on Team?
Members of the team workspace who can edit, so admins and editors, and the workspace owner buys those seats on one invoice. Viewers, and anyone who joins a board through its link, are free and never take a seat.
Is there a minimum on Team?
Yes, Team starts at 10 seats, so from €70 a month or €700 a year, and each seat after that is €7 a month or €70 a year. If you have fewer than 10 editors, everyone takes Host. For a sense of where the numbers cross: 8 editors on Host is €72 a month; a Team of 10 is €70.
Can we switch from Host to Team?
Yes. The owner sets up a team workspace, buys the seats and invites the editors, and you can move the boards you share into it. Anyone who already pays for Host can keep it, because Host counts as their own seat in the team, or they can cancel it and take a Team seat instead. If they cancel, their personal workspace goes back to Free with 3 live boards; the rest become read-only and nothing is deleted.
What can I do on Free?
Keep 3 live boards, use all 37 native templates and invite participants through editable links. No card is needed to start.
How does the introductory Host month work?
The introductory monthly offer costs €1 for the first month and requires a card. It then renews at €9 per month. An annual option at €90 is also available during sign-up. Team has no first-month offer.
What happens if I cancel Host?
You keep the 3 live boards included with Free. Additional boards become read-only; their content is not deleted.
Is AI unlimited?
No. AI usage is metered and plan allowances apply. Check the current allowance in Boards. The template library and guest collaboration are separate from AI usage.
Do I pay for each person who joins?
No. Anyone who joins through a board link is free on every plan, and they can still edit the board. Host is priced per person for the host, and on Team you only pay a seat for the members of the team workspace who edit.
